Steamer Point History Walk

Please do join us on Thursday 27th April. We will meet at the Steamer Point Radome base from 5.45pm to start the walk promptly at 6pm. It will be an approximately 1.5 km level walk in a loop around the nature reserve. We expect to take 1-1.5 hours, but please feel free to leave early - or catch up with us in the reserve if you need to join late. Our Vice-Chair Paul De Jonghe will describe some of the ancient and modern history of Steamer Point, including some findings from the very latest research. He will also point out some of the artefacts in the reserve and talk about the ongoing efforts for heritage preservation.
